☀️TRAINING OUTDOORS ☀️ Having the gyms closed doesn’t stop us from enjoying our training. Training and exercising outside has many benefits as well. These are only a few of many 👌🏻 1. Outdoor exercise can help ward off seasonal affective disorder (SAD) Which I’ve noticed is a common thing in Victoria and especially Ballarat, this can cause or effect depression and anxiety. Sunshine naturally increases serotonin, a hormone that affects your mood. Exercise itself produces endorphins, another feel-good hormone that boosts your mood and reduces pain. 2. It provides mental relief. Many people feel a lot of tension about working out, losing weight and lowering their blood pressure. Outdoor exercise is enjoyable and feels more like play than a chore. 3. You can turn it into a social outing. With our current restrictions, it’s the perfect excuse to catch up with friends and family without feeling pressured or guilty about breaking rules. As summer is closing in, it’s the perfect time to enjoy it, make the most of it.. as we know Ballarat tends to have 9 months of winter.
